This post is part of our special coverage of the 2012 London Olympics . On July 24, 2012, just before the Olympic torch circulate through London , the national flag of Taiwan was removed from the street Street in the capital of the United Kingdom. All other flags are hung to welcome the representatives from around the world to these summer Olympics. Many Taiwanese were disappointed about the sudden disappearance of the flag.
