Well justified in his Twitter account ( @ rmartinelli ) President Ricardo Martinelli closing streets on February 3 serving his fifth day. And is that the natives of the region have closed Ngäbes Buglé the Pan American Highway up to the province of Chiriqui to demand the government to comply with the agreed upon last year's negotiations about mining in the region. The closure has caused millions of dollars lost because it is the main means of land communication in the country. It has also made hundreds of people are trapped in the massive congestion, leaving them without food or water. As reported in The Press :
The government has so far opted to ignore the protests and seek alternate routes to transport people and goods, as the so-called "air bridge" that would transport people and food by air. The shaky image of the government of Ricardo Martinelli is shown even more impaired in social networks where people have repudiated the apathy and arrogance with which the president and his team have handled the situation, but there are those who see the attitude of indigenous self-centeredness and little concern for the country. Robert B. Logs ( @ tronky22 ) writes to the president:
Jaime Correa ( @ JCorrea1293 ) is shown by the way annoyed the autocratic ruler and states that is often confused with how to control their chain supermarket (Super 99):
Fermin Osorio ( @ MeisterBrake ) for its part believes that people exaggerate a little to draw Martinelli responsible for all evil;
Maria Moreno (@ ascadelia1986 ) A comparison of the current government with the former dictatorship of Manuel Antonio Noriega :
Daniel Acosta ( @ Daar05 ) drew the entire political class as the culprit of the crisis facing the country:
The blogger Erick Simpson Aguilera has his perspective on his blog Pma507pty :
Although the solution seems far away right now, Panamanians have not lost hope of finding a solution beneficial to all. Written by Ariel Moreno · Comments (0)
