Venezuelan social networks exploded after the release of photographs showing viral a group of children posing with guns in one of the most representative of Caracas on January 23. The photos, taken and published by the group "La Piedrita" in his Facebook account spread rapidly and generated numerous opinions, the majority of rejection. Luis Carlos Diaz in his post "We try to build peace in Venezuela , "shares other links that help to contextualize both the story and says:
At the same time, Ludmila Vinogradoff notes in his post " The Children of the Revolution ":
Days later, the group filmed a video in which he argued that their activities did not seek to train children in the use of arms. However, other YouTube users highlighted the passing of a member with a concealed weapon alleged in the back of the plane and the presence of video spokesperson in the photographs in question. The photographs were also discussion about the media and the starting point for a march organized by the same group, La Piedrita, through which children demanded respect of the photographs. According to the collective banner displayed in the images shared on his Twitter account, "... the only thing children had was the Constitution." Similarly, responding to the media that children had no real weapons and it was all part of a "play". Twitter reactions were discredited. Ytzel Perez (@ ytzelpérez) joined this opinion and Eduardo Ponte ( @ acaballoregalao ) published it under the hashtag # unusual :
Both ministerial representatives and politicians, as members of civil organizations and NGOs also reported rejection of the induction of children in armed conflict. However, it is highly unlikely that this debate will end soon. For many, these images have been used to manipulate public opinion against the government, while for others it is an alarm in terms of resources and limits on who can get the support groups with which the government could have alternately to the Armed Forces. It is by knowing the fate of those responsible for the Collective's Piedrita to the authorities and the development of the Presidential Commission for the Control of Firearms, Ammunition and Disarmament Written by Laura Vidal · Comments (1)
