Bioy Casares

Bioy Casares travel correspondent. This is an unpublished text notes to be issued on 6 September in Spain and Argentina, called a few days in Brazil. Diary of a journey (published by Pages Foam and Company, publishers Spanish and Argentina, respectively).

Through 100 pages, the Argentine writer (of the most influential in American literature and author of The Invention of Morel, 1940) has his tour of Brazil, in 1960.

These are notebooks that Adolfo Bioy Casares (1914-1999) wrote for himself and showed a close circle (family and friends), with no intention of publishing, so it would not be strictly unpublished.

The trip to the South American country, was due to the invitation to him by the PEN Club, to give a lecture series, along with the author Alberto Moravia and Graham Greene.

In turn, took advantage and went through the main cities: Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Brasilia (even knew how was this city held by the great Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer ).

The book features photographs taken by himself Bioy Casares, which will be exhibited at the Casa de America in Madrid.
