Hallstatt, Austria lives in a fantasy

Hallstatt, fantasy lives in Austria. North of this country, situated on the shores of Lake Hallstatt See (considered one of the world's most beautiful), this place is in possession of a distinctive beauty.

Many lakes and mountains of the Alps is part of the landscape. Furthermore, along the main lake, beautiful houses are concentrated, with its balconies full of flowers.

In addition, Hallstatt, settled the first human settlements (by salt deposits, source of wealth until the middle of the twentieth century. Even, here is the oldest salt mine in the world: Salzbergwerk), some of the findings former corresponds to 5000 BC

One of the attractions of the city, are the mines of the white gold-salt-mines, of which some are still active. To visit you must take the funicular up the mountain.
