Singapur

Singapore: constantly growing. Although a small island state in Southeast Asia (with about 700 square kilometers), now owns nearly 40 square kilometers rather than at the beginning of 1800. Is that, for the rulers of this country depends on its future growth in size (to within fifty years, plans to increase the cost by almost 15%).

However, this represents an ecological problem , as the nearby islands (in charge of providing 80% of the sand used for the expansion projects of Singapore) began to shrink.

Beyond all this, the Republic of Singapore (means "city of lions") has a thriving economy based on being a leading international financial center and the third complex global oil refining.

On the other hand, has one of the best airports in the world: Changi International (located in its namesake city.) Opened in 1981 and since then maintained an excellent service (in fact, won about 300 prizes).

In Singapore emphasizes its colonial past and cultural heritage: three cultures coexist very well through their own neighborhoods, which retain their traditions. China, through Chinatown: The Chinese were living in the region since its inception.

It joins the Arab culture, with Kampong Glam district. Earlier, Arab traders settled and is today a settlement of Muslim activities and religious programs. Finally, add the Indian culture, with Little India.

In Singapore, we recorded the museums of History and the Asian Civilizations, and important mosques, such as the famous Sultan Mosque (the largest), the Malabar Muslim Jama-Ath, the Nagore Durgha (in 1974 was declared a national monument).
