Cadiz Carnival 2012

Cadiz Carnival 2012. As in most years, the Carnival of Cádiz is in February, from 16 to 26. The historic neighborhoods, and especially La Viña, account for most of the party, officially declared of International Tourist Interest.

The carnival starts on February 16 the city is already delivered to the party from before, not the real end of the festival coincides with the officer, and that although it is Sunday February 26 pinata and a fireworks display says goodbye to the party, the following weekend takes place on Carnival Carnival of the little boy or jartibles.

On 19 come together, the carousel at the Plaza of the ride magna Marking and crossing the Avenue in a parade of color in the late afternoon and the final fireworks. On Monday 20 takes place on the carousel of choirs in the center with a public less numerous, being a public holiday only in the city of Cadiz.

On weekdays the volume of carnival acts to be slightly reduced working days and on Friday 24 becomes frantic activity, especially in the Vine neighborhood.

The piñata Saturday Palma Street, also in the Vine neighborhood, is the site of the Parade Chica. Finally, the piñata Sunday, February 26, the carnival ends with the burning of the witch in the Cadiz Piti Caleta beach, while a few meters from the Castillo de San Sebastián fireworks are launched that make point end to the festivities of Don Carnal for most.
