Luck, the new series being prepared by HBO and I already discussed that has good paint, became well known for the participation in it by Dustin Hoffman. To make matters worse we had also cast the presence of Dennis Farina and Nick Colte, which are not as well known as Dustin, have also dabble in film. The show is produced by David Milch and Michael Mann, director of the recent and acclaimed Public Enemies.

Now this all-star cast has now been expanded a bit more with Richard Kind, who we saw in Spin City and has participated in the final and twice nominated for the Oscar A Serious Man, the Coens, and Ian Hart (Dirt). The first Rathburn Joey will play a hockey manager, and Hart will give life to a player who often bet on the ponies.

The series depicts death, and its release is planned for early 2011, with what little we still like a year of waiting. Henry Bronchtein, one co-producer of the legendary The Sopranos, has also been responsible for aspects with production in this new project, so I am very much mistaken, what is brewing here is another of those small wonders of HBO.
