The star guard of the NBA, now at Los Angeles Clippers, acknowledged yesterday that he would like the opportunity to participate in the Olympics 2012.

Baron Davis recently wrote an article on Yardbarker in which he claimed he stayed up late to see how their compatriots were getting the gold medal in Beijing (in the U.S. was 2.30 am when the game started).

"Kobe is a phenomenon, all the pointers in the quarter were devastating! Dwyane Wade seemed to be going back to what it was in the next season. No other team would have Dwayne Wade coming off the bench, except on the PlayStation. And LeBron James is still the king. But with all the talent out there, still had to play hard on defense and play together to subdue Spain.

The base, until this season's Golden State Warriors, also had words for the Spanish team. Specifically, for Rudy Fernandez and Ricky Rubio.

"I can not wait to see Ricky Rubio in our league, is a genius. Portland will be OK too, with Greg Oden and Rudy Fernandez as new (did you see the mate in the face of Dwight Howard, do you were kidding me?) "

Finally, he said he would like to participate in the 2012 London Olympic Games. "It would be an honor to try to get the gold in four years."
