While Leipheimer himself is like winning the time trial, the three Spanish predestined to win this Tour of Spain and are placed in the general classification. Alberto Contador was the best three in the time trial today, but Alejandro Valverde only lost to him 10 seconds and Carlos Sastre gave less than a minute before the Pinto.

The general classification is as leader Levi Leipheimer with Sylvain Chavanel just two seconds, followed by Alejandro Valverde at 30 seconds. Fourth is the Belgian Tom Boonen, who made a spectacular trial in search of power wrapped in gold jersey tomorrow if you get into some escapade sprintera. Alberto Contador is fifth at 47 seconds behind race leader Carlos Sastre and seventh to 1.27.

Tomorrow's stage, with finish in Toledo, will not face any of the general classification, but on Saturday the second test we have serious (and bearing in mind that today's trial has not ruled out anyone, could be the first test important), with full final high Pyrenees. But that will be on Saturday.

Tomorrow the squad still has a quiet day.
