Less than month and a half to start the best league of basketball in the world (or at least the most media), the fans have spoken: Los Angeles Lakers are the team most likely to represent the West in the Finals of the NBA.
Same block, but with a "signing": Andrew Bynum. So, the LA Lakers are the favorites to repeat as Western Conference representative in the NBA Finals, with permission from the other three teams considered for the survey released by NBA.com. LA Lakers get 31% of the support, followed by New Orleans Hornets with 22%, which also maintains the same basic block last season. This year, however, I think to face against New Orleans Hornets San Antonio Spurs can beat them, though both teams have the same block. In fact, the Spurs only get a 4% support, worse than Houston Rockets, the last team considered for the survey, which achieved 10% of the supports. Last year without Yao Ming offered much opposition (achieving the second best winning streak in NBA history), but fell in first round playoff series against Utah Jazz. This year, besides McGrady and Ming, they have Ron Artest, that failure to do much the head is a guarantee of improvement in the Texas team. The remaining 33% goes to teams that have not been considered in the survey, among which, for me, and the new armed figuarían: Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers. Phoenix Suns doubt very much that the good results achieved in recent years (which ended last year) and Dallas Mavericks do something big. It's a shame that Phoenix Suns has been unable to gain championship ring in the golden years of Steve Nash and company.
