Carreras Populares in Spain

The fun runs can be the best method to fraternize with your fellow citizens. And the year is filled with Spanish, for each city, especially in major mass race where people who will lose athletics joins me in sharing a time of their lives in part of those crowds.

The popular race par excellence in Spain is the great "San Silvestre Vallecana", but there are many more, for everyone, for all endurance and for all weekends, some of which already have many years of history, as the famous "Race Canillejas People" in mid November, which this year reaches 2008, the 29th edition, or the "Race of the Constitution", on December 6 in Torrejón de Ardoz. Both races are within the Community of Madrid. Torrejon's career reaches this year its twenty-second edition, has free entry (not like the Canillejas).

But outside of Madrid there are many races. Like Valencia Half Marathon, which this year reaches its 18th edition. The race takes place on 16 November at 10.00 am and the last day to register is October 31, at a price of 15 euros, or the half marathon in Gandia, the same day at the same time, and that costs 6 € until 12 November.

Also in November, 30, is scheduled to race Santurce - Bilbao, 16 miles, and where there are several categories, including disabled. The price is 15 €.

In Albacete is a mountain race for the 23th, Sunday, November. 10 km cross-country in the Race Yeste.

And on Sunday, 16 November, in Lorca, Murcia, we can assist the City Half Marathon Lorca, where participation costs 12 euro s and can target one through Nov. 7.
