Yesterday Kevin Garnett took another step as a star player of the NBA: he became the youngest player in history to reach the 1,000 games played.

Kevin Garnett got the record for the Boston Celtics game on the night of Halloween by the Chicago Bulls 96-80. Kevin Garnett has 32 years and 165 days, improving the record of Shawn Kemp who got it at age 33 to 24 days, half a year later or so.

To celebrate, Kevin Garnett led the Celtics to victory with 18 points and 10 rebounds to break some that already have Bulls Derrick Rose as the soul of the team. Young scored 18 basis points, but buggy (6 of 14).

Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, the Knicks suffered a severe correction from the new Sixers, those who have Elton Brand in their ranks and are serious candidates to give more of a headache in the East. In fact, Elton Brand has been quick to throw the team on his back, which is very typical of a player extremely regular and very head. 24 points and 14 rebounds for the so-called "Mr. 20.10 ", which had the unconditional support of Andre Miller, author of 20 points and 8 assists. The game ended 116-87. Mike D'Antoni has all the ballots to go badly in its new guise in New York.

The Heat, who last year were the worst team in the league, with all the talent wasted, took a beating yesterday about misplaced Sacramento Kings that did nothing to lose balls, plus the equipment they have (the same as Last year unless Ron Artest) will allow them not do much. Heat won 103-77, who saw Dwayne Wade to his natural leader with 20 points. Rookie Michael Beasley scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
