If we announced here recently that Espaciodeportes Manchester City took for granted the signing of Brazilian star Kaka, I must say that apparently the team has finally had chances to close a signing that has not happened. Had to wait and what other options would be Manchester and all of them have also said "no" to the club. Thus, David Villa, France's Thierry Henry and the Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon has given a negative response as reported by The Guardian. Apparently Manchester City representatives traveled last December to interested in signing Valencia Villa and his teammate David Silva. The team offered $ 100 million and Valencia response was swift to answer it would not start any negotiations that would rise below 130 million. While another delegation from Manchester did the same play in Turin in wanting to gain 100 million signing of goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon. Finally there was the case of Thierry Henry, a striker with FC Barcelona, which was targeted by the British team earlier this season during the past winter market. The offer was set at 25 million, but the player turned down the proposal and reaffirmed their intention to continue in Barcelona. Vía | El Pais
