No one had managed to score 61 points in the MSG, not even Michael Jordan who played in that field over 50 games.'s Air Jordan came to scoring 55 points, and the leader until last night, Bernard King, scored 60 for the Christmas Day 1984.

Kobe Bryant enjoyed the song of the followers of the Knicks, who led him on wings shouting "MVP, MVP." It is true that the current Knicks game lends itself to these performances (the party ended with a 126-117 for Angelenos.) Mike D'Antoni knows what suffering is to Kobe Bryant and Phoenix Suns had their ups and downs against the Lakers two years ago when on this team and Kobe Bryant was only put on the ropes the Suns.

Meanwhile, Pau Gasol was commissioned to do his work and the injured Andrew Bynum, who will be sidelined 8 to 12 weeks after Kobe Bryant hit against his leg. A test of what can these Lakers without Bynum is the reference week. It will also face the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers. Boston Celtics won the Finals were last year.

Kobe Bryant also won the award for best player of the month of January in the Western Conference, with a mean of 27.2 points and 7.1 rebounds.
