Rafael Nadal has called the Prince of Asturias prize for the very great Roger Federer, a request which had been joined by, among others, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher, who won the award in 2005 and 2007. Have not had time rewarding the institution of Roger Federer during his more than 4 years of uninterrupted rule in the ATP?

And the prize Principe de Asturias has become a farce in which it awarded to whoever wants. We can set an example to the aforementioned drivers Formula 1. "Who would think that you are given the award before a Fernando Alonso (when it still had not won a World Cup) than Michael Schumacher, who had won six or seven? Moreover, in 2006 the prize went to lie in the selection of Spanish basketball, winner of the tournament. But, if we give a prize to a selection to win the World Cup, we'll have to give the following that win, right?

Why they gave him the Prince of Asturias award for Brazilian national football team in 2002 and not to Italy in 2006? This award has become a showcase for the sport only Spanish, as winners of the 22 athletes, 10 of them are Spanish (45%). And besides, there are Spanish athletes the likes of Angel Nieto (winner of 12 + 1 world championships) that have yet to receive the award.

That yes, there are also very notable successes, like the aforementioned Michael Schumacher, Steffi Graf, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario or Lance Armstrong.
