It's official. Scariolo Sergio will be the next coach of the Spanish basketball selection, as has informed the president of the Spanish Federation (FEB), José Luis Sáez. The coach now Khimki Russia (where they play, among others, Jorge Garbajosa and Carlos Delfino) will combine both posts, which if I remember was a reason to cast Pepu Hernandez. Once again, inconsistency in the high sporting estates overlooking the door. Personally, I think the coach of a national team should be also the country itself, as the players. A coach is part of the team, and speaking of which adjudicates international competitions, which country has the best overall, it seems illogical that the coach may be of another State. Sergio Scariolo is well known in the Spanish basketball, where he coached the Tau Vitoria (1997 to '99, winning a Copa del Rey), the Real Madrid, where he was named coach of the year, and won a league ACB in the year 2000, and Unicaja Malaga since 2003, with whom he won a Copa del Rey (2005) and ACB (2006). Then passed through a stage of commentator until a month ago started to train the Russian Khimki. Image | Wikipedia
