I read in the British newspaper The Guardian that one wonders how much is left for Edwin Van der Sar to establish an unbeaten record. The United goalkeeper has a whopping 1212 minutes without conceding one (approximately thirteen games), but the record still has far away. The best goalkeeper in this aspect of the story was Mazaropi, the Basque da Gama and etween 1977 and 1978 was 20 games without conceding a goal, with a total of 1816 minutes. The next was the Egyptian Thabet El-Batal, who was 1442 minutes without conceding a goal. The funny thing is that this guy is in the Top 10 twice, as also appears at number 5 with another run of 1325 minutes, with the same team, the National SC Cairo. In the number 6 appears again that an Egyptian team, so that either the other teams is bad or that quarry is prodigious in terms of goalkeepers are concerned. This is Essam El-Hadari, who won two years ago to be 1288 minutes without conceding a single goal. Earlier, at number 3 in the year 1990, the first European on the list, Dany Verliden, Belgian goalkeeper who played for Club Brugge KV was 1390 minutes without seeing his goalkeeper beaten. Just then, with 1352 minutes, Jose Maria Buljubasich, Argentine, achieved that mark in 2005. To find the Spanish first have to go to number 6 with Abel resin, now coach of Atletico Madrid. Between 1990 and 1991 was 1275 minutes without conceding a goal. Van der Sar currently is ranked No. 11 but has not yet been unbeaten and therefore not listed in the IFFHS (those who dedicate themselves to say who is the best club, hot picks, and all that). Van der Sar, goalkeeper of Manchester United, is 1212 minutes without conceding a goal, he has achieved over 13 games. Before him is a Praxitelous Marios, chipriano Omonia Nicosia, which was 1221. Is everything ready so that Van der Sar gets achieve the Top 10 in history, provided that the Blackburn Rovers, in 18th place of the League, did not make a goal in the first nine minutes of the game.
