This weekend is the NBA Allstar

Today Friday starts the weekend of the 2009 NBA stars, with the game between rookies and sophomores, which will, among others, our Marc Gasol, the first Spanish in participating in this year's AllStar. Later, involving Pau Gasol and Rudy Fernandez.

The game between rookies (novice) and sophomores (second-year players) is basically a showcase for these young people look, because the game is nothing spectacular plays rivalry and succeed on either side of the basket without there is a minimum defense or fighting. Since the introduction of the rookies vs. sophomores system (before playing rookies only differentiated into two conferences), rookies have won only once, in 2002 (just the year in which he played Pau Gasol). The remaining games, 7, have been won by the sophomores, so is every indication that would earn. The sophomore team members are:

Brooks, Chandler, Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Al Horford, Luis Scola, Al Thornton, Rodney Stuckey and T. Young.

The game will be played at 3.00 am Spanish time, on Channel Four.
