Britain's David Beckham will have to return America to fulfill his contract whenever the AC Milan did not submit a new bid to Los Angeles Galaxy, who has rights. The period which gave the MLS expired Friday.

Although Beckham's agent says he still has time, it appears that the MLS will not backpedal and David Beckham will have to wait until mid-2009, to return to play in Europe because AC Milan has not paid what asked for it. Despite having signed a contract for five years beginning in 2007, Beckham could return to Milan in the summer.

The truth is that this surprising since Milan, like Beckham, expressed their desire to stay with the player. But Tim Leiweke, owner of the Galaxy, leaves no doubt:

"The return on March 9 and do not want to have more conversations now. We're a month of our season and we owe it to Bruce Arena (Galaxy coach) and the rest of the team."

"We will continue to play that game. They have tried to play with us. This has been very harmful and has caused great amusement in the team." The MLS team does not expect any problem with the player, although Beckham says he enjoyed the Galaxy but is more comfortable in Milan. In fact, hopes to join the lineup to play against Inter Milan this weekend.

"David Beckham is a great professional.'ll Be disappointed, but come and have a good year with us."
