The trade deadline came and Sergio Rodriguez did not see his dream fulfilled (and their fans) to see him coach another team away from Nate McMillan. Portland Trail Blazers forward failed to find any high level, which was what they wanted, and So Sergio Rodriguez did not enter any transfer when it struck twelve at night in New York.

Sergio Rodriguez will continue at least until end of season at Portland Trail Blazers, where he now is playing more, but because the point guard Steve Blake is injured. That is the interpretation that can be drawn from the last night that transfers could be made in the NBA, where the canary was the only Spanish player with the potential to change teams. Hours earlier, the NBA made it official a trade to the Kings, from Chicago, another major league known Spanish: Andres Nocioni. Together with Argentina, the Kings received Drew Gooden and the Bulls were to Brad Miller and John Salmons. Andres Nocioni has been to call at the worst NBA team of all time.

Nor was there any transfer sounded on the last night. Amare Stoudemire, who was in the crosshairs of some equipment and the Suns wanted to convey, nor entered into any trade and Phoenix Suns will continue until at least June, when it re-opens the transfer market. The most important transfers of that day were that sent Larry Hughes and the New York Knicks that sent Orlando the heretofore parcel of Houston Rockets Rafer Alston.

By the way, Jose Calderon is out substitute in the Toronto-based station since he who acted as a second baseman, Willie Solomon has gone to the Sacramento Kings.
