The scandals in the NBA are on the agenda. If yesterday we talked about the incident in the Wizards locker room between Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton, now we have to talk about a harassment suit against Shaquille O'Neal by a model.

The woman in question is called Vanessa Lane, and this comes in the middle of a process of separation of Shaquille O'Neal and his wife Shaunie. Moreover, the current center of Cleveland Cavaliers, in the twilight of his career (he and 37 springs which was the most dominant player in the NBA), and had another case in 2008 with a hip-hop artist, Alexis Miller, who claimed O'Neal threatened her after holding a sporadic relationship.

The model Vanessa Lane has already contacted his lawyer, Gloria Alfred, who is tanned in such cases as it now is defending one of the alleged lovers of Tiger Woods (I'm not sure what is happening in that case) and also was a lawyer of an alleged lover of Bill Clinton (before the famous intern Monica Lewinski).

What is clear is that sport in America is ultimately involved in many cases away from the sport, and that's not good in the face of values you want to convey.

Shaquille O'Neal was critical of Kobe Bryant when he was in his judgments about sexual harassment, which ultimately resulted in compensation from the player to the accuser. However, until the case is resolved we can not speak of the guilt of O'Neal (everyone is innocent until proven guilty).
