2010 Sports Calendar

The 2010 promises many exciting sporting afternoons in our lives. As every year, the most interesting events happen, with the lure of South Africa's World. Here's what we can not miss it for the world:

JANUARY

• Dakar Rally, day 2 to 16, with Carlos Sainz, Nani Roma and Marc Coma of favorites.
• European Handball Championship, the 18 to 31.
• European Futsal Championship, from 18 to 30.
• Open de Australia, from 18 to 31.

FEBRUARY

• Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada) from 12 to 28.

MARCH

• World Indoor Athletics, from 12 to 14
• Start the Formula One season 1, with Fernando Alonso at Ferrari.

APRIL

• Futsal final of the Champions League.

MAY

• Football, Champions League Final at the Bernabeu on May 22. Also, the end of the King's Cup on the 26th.
• Roland Garros, on May 23 begins.
• Basketball, Euroleague Final Four, from 7 to 9.
• Giro d'Italia, from 8 to 30.

JUNE

• Football World Cup, starting June 11.
• Wimbledon, June 21 to July 4.

JULY

• Tour de France, July 3, Alberto Contador will try to republish his triumph.
• European Athletics Championships, July 27 to August 3.

AUGUST

• Basketball World, Spain defends the gold from Japan (28 August - 12 September)
• Tour of Spain 75th anniversary, the 28 to 19 September.

SEPTEMBER

• World cycling, 28 to 3 October.

OCTOBER

• 2500 years since the first marathon ever.

DECEMBER

• Davis Cup final, of 3 to 5 December.
