It is the first time the Spanish won the Dakar Rally in the category of cars, and, quite frankly, seemed destined to be succeeded the great Carlos Sainz, an illustrious name of the engine to its 47 years has another dream come true: winning Rally harder and famous the world, designed for over thirty years by Thierry Sabine, who had the idea after nearly losing his life lost through the desert dunes.

This victory of Carlos Sainz joins the great achievements of this century just begun in the Dakar for the Spanish, where Marc Coma and Nani Roma have engraved their signatures in the victories in the motorcycle section (2006 and 2009 for Coma, 2004 for Roma).

I do not think many people who question the merit of Carlos Sainz and, most importantly, their merits because, despite having won two world championships, has been second in four others, always chasing the bad luck. In memory of all is engraved " 'Try to start it, Carlos!" De Luis Moya, the violation of a goat, or that stuck plunged last year in this Dakar Rally while leading the race. He had to endure bouts of bad luck, but this year's Carlos Sainz has become the king of Dakar.
