Copa del Rey de Baloncesto 2010

Every time there is less for us to enjoy the King's Cup Basketball 2010, where the eight best teams in the ACB League qualifying will be played to try to get this precious title.

The Copa del Rey de Baloncesto is an exciting competition that takes place in just one weekend. She accessing the seven best teams in the first round of the regular season and the host team, unless the city that hosts the tournament was not represented, so that would occupy the eighth place classified. The Copa del Rey is celebrated precisely in Bilbao, from 18 February to 21 November. We do not know who will win, but statistically in recent years the favorite is, without doubt, the Caja Laboral Baskonia, which has won five of the last eleven championships. The other side of the coin is for Real Madrid, since 1992 (18 years have passed since then) do not get the trophy.

The top scorer in the history of the Copa del Rey is Mark Davis and Leon Wood, both of CAI Zaragoza, with 44 points. One did it in 1989-90 and one in the previous one, although the former could only get the final victory.

Real Madrid is the team that has won more times the King's Cup with 22 titles, followed by FC Barcelona with 20. Further away are DKV with 8 and Baskonia with 6.
