It was the most tense in the afternoon of Formula 1 street circuit in Valencia. It could have been a tragedy in the history of the most important category of international motorsport. Mark Webber saved his life by a miracle.
It all started when I was twelve lap race. The pilot of Red Bull and championship contender, Mark Webber, tries to overtake the Finn Heikki Kovalainen Lotus. A miscalculation creates its left front wheel high speed impact to the right rear of another car. And then came the worst. The Red Bull flew through the air. In falling to the track's trunk and roll bar monoposto suffered the violent impact. Then, the vehicle continued to spin and lost wheels and front spoiler. The race ended with the impact threat to the containment barrier reinforced with tires in the streets of Valencia. Al talked about himself Kovalainen
