Today is a day of classical (or derbies, as they like) but not those stimulated by the rivalry between fans, but by "compete" in a given city.
The first of the day was carried out between two heavyweights in the history of the Premier League , nothing more and nothing less than the Manchester United and Manchester City , an eternal grief that grew up in the times of Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and George Best (the trident offensive of the Red Devils in 1968), facing the unbeaten Joe Corrigan, striker Francis Lee and Colin Bell eternal (historical players of Manchester City ) Today, this match had supremacy in the cunning of the embattled Carlos Tevez and regularity of the tireless Wayne Rooney , two players with similar playing characteristics and the priorities of each team drivers. On the one hand, coach Alex Ferguson conducted some indications seeking the opening of the game and looking beyond the conservative tactic of Manchester City. On the other hand, Roberto Mancini wanted to Bellamy and Tevez will become a problem for United , but everything seemed very close. With only two shots on goal by each team (one of them, a very accurate shot from Tevez that Van Der Saar goalkeeper managed to deflect with difficulty), this match seemed to end in zero.
But in the 92nd minute, 20 seconds left in the match by the referee, a center failed to find the historic Evra Paul Scholes, who with a testazo managed to send the ball with a stick and leave Manchester United to duel city. The greatest joy came a few minutes later, with the defeat of Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur (by 2 to 1, with a dubious criminal sentenced to John Terry ) that leaves the Red Devils to a point of the tip, near the championship. Finally, a "curious" postcard of what was the celebration between Gary Neville and Paul Scholes:
