It is practically impossible to talk of the Tour de France without mentioning Lance Armstrong, the legendary man who overcame cancer and won seven consecutive Gallic circuit. Retired in 2005, Armstrong announced his comeback to search for his eighth title this year. The U.S. has not disappointed: after a hesitant start in the third stage of the Tour has been placed in third place.

The attraction of this edition focuses largely on the morbid to see if Armstrong achieved his goal. Few athletes have dominated both his discipline as he (a boat soon, only I can think of Tiger Woods at golf or Roger Federer in tennis). Armstrong, beyond exploited his life story as an example of excellence, is an impressive hook to give publicity to a sport as little as cycling continued. There is no doubt that the Tour de France (their sponsors and television) what they missed a lot.

As an added bonus, I leave this excerpt from the movie Dodgeball, in which Lance Armstrong gives a lesson not to give Vince Vaughn. In the meantime, gentlemen, let's turn to France, that the legend is back.
