Last installment of this series of posts on Mexico's offensive problems. I thank all who have commented, it is always good to get to the discussion. To close, I will focus on four naturalized players (well, three, and the room as if it were). I hope you have enjoyed this special, and if you want more on some other subject, do not forget to ask below.

4. Outsiders

Guillermo Franco: El Guille dressed in green for the first time in the days of Ricardo Lavolpe, pre-World Cup 2006. Apart from being a whim of the coach, Franco was the scorer of Monterrey, and seemed to offer alternatives in the Mexican attack: excellent passing game, specialist header and a lot of power to the front. In the World did not explode, and remained neglected during the process of Hugo Sanchez. Already in Villarreal, Eriksson summoned but not convinced. Aguirre can deliver it, despite its low level of play and its current lack of equipment.

Diagnosis: Franco is football, but never been able to attach to the selection. With a good supplier of balls can hurt. It is an attacker who is thrown very well and holds it in front, so it serves well to approach with one point. Unfortunately, inactivity and weight you need minutes to re-oiling. Call at a median of Europe team would do him good, both he and the combined tricolor.

Rating: 2.5 / 5

Vicente Matias Vuoso: El Toro arrived in the recent selection process for Sven Goran Eriksson. He has responded fairly well, although their contribution to Canada was significant for Mexico to ride out the first phase of qualifying. It's a monstrosity, a forward power of pure rock. It has good placement in the area, cool finish with his head and pressure in the output. Unfortunately there is planned for the Gold Cup

Diagnosis: Aguirre must turn to him. Vuoso is designed for visitors in Concacaf. When Mexico takes a defensive approach, requires a player in front of their characteristics. In the few opportunities she has received, has complied. His call for a visit to Costa Rica should be required.

Rating: 3.5 / 5

Antonio Naelson "Sinha" Another major absentee from the list tricolor. Play for a similar position to that of Cuauhtemoc Blanco, but can accommodate as playmaker. Of the few (if not only) '10 'in Mexican football. Sinha has vision of game, fine touch, driving the ball and manage the game time. The only problem is that encourages the offensive unit, and the team should play for him.

Diagnosis: Ahmed ... convócalo! Unlike Eriksson, the Basque scheme is more flexible, so it could very well Sinha in a 4-3-3. Impossible (or foolish) to continue ignoring the brain of Mexican champions.

Rating: 3.5 / 5

Neri Castillo: Neither should review it. Olimpiacos explosives in Greek, was diluted in injuries and bad attitudes. He reached his fifteen minutes of fame with a sublime match against Brazil, and nothing more. Shakhtar Donetsk go to the footballing killed him. No team, and its calls due to years of faith (or, with Mario Carrillo on the bench, to witchcraft).

Diagnosis: Castillo has qualities, but the defect of having empty brains. No need to summon it, or risk breaking the dress and wear (more) relationship with the press. If you feel head, could be employable. Meanwhile, the farther the better.

Rating: 1 / 5
