The suspense is over. Brett Favre has said no to the Vikings of Minnesota. The quarterback, almost 40 years, has decided to stay (it now!) In retirement. Favre has realized that it is not for those jogging, and preferred to step aside.

It seems a logical decision. Brett announced his first retirement in 2008 after a prolific career with the Green Bay Packers. However, the quarterback backed off its decision and decided to sign with New York Jets last season. With his performance in fall and injuries around, Favre announced he would go back to the gratings. And it was ... until Minesotta knocked on his door.

"I do not feel he can play a physically acceptable level," argued the quarterback. His throwing arm, once one of the most potent in the league, and not given to the highest level. Favre's return would have more in sorrow than glory, and his career did not end well deserved. In the end, moderation has prevailed, and Brett has rejected an offer from the Vikings. Just hopefully not repent again.
