I'm a little sad. Swimming is no longer a sport of swimming to be a sport where technology is valued more.

The author of the phrase is Paul Bidermann, the German swimmer Michael Phelps defeated yesterday in the 200m freestyle at the World Swimming Championships. Entirely plastic for a high-tech suit, Bidermann consummated a victory that the world is known to cheat.

This will be the last World Cup where the whole body suits monopolize the records. So far the World Cup, nearly 13 brands have been overcome, as part of this unnatural trend of swimming since the arrival of special swimmers. What happened yesterday was the last straw: Bidermann has left virtually dry by the pool, because the suit prevented the athlete make contact with water.

Phelps, once a user of these suits, the revolution led by example. Furic, hung the gold medal by breaking his record in the 200m butterfly, in a style that suits clogging. The Swimming World gives us competition against technology. Let's see if the strength of the athlete can be defeated by the Allies of polyurethane.
