Diego Armando Maradona

Diego Armando Maradona has submitted the list to the convening of the albiceleste to Russia. It amazes me the call of many stars for a friendly game, but because it was date FIFA, Argentina can afford to join many of his best men. The full list is:

Goalkeepers

  • Juan Pablo Carrizo (Zaragoza)
  • Mariano Andújar (Catania)

Fenders

  • Javier Zanetti (Inter)
  • Emiliano Papa (Velez Sarsfield)
  • Gabriel Heinze (Real Madrid)
  • Daniel Diaz (Getafe)
  • Nicolas Burdisso (Inter)
  • Nicholas Otamendi (Velez Sarsfield)
  • Martin Demichelis (Bayern Munich)

Midfielders

  • Javier Mascherano (Liverpool)
  • Fernando Gago (Real Madrid)
  • Sebastian Battaglia (Boca Juniors)
  • Mario Bolatti (Hurricane)
  • Maximiliano Rodriguez (Atletico Madrid)
  • Jonas Gutierrez (Newcastle)
  • Jesus Dátolo (Napoli)
  • Juan Sebastián Verón (Estudiantes de La Plata)

Forwards

  • Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
  • Sergio Aguero (Atletico Madrid)
  • Lisandro Lopez (Lyon)
  • Diego Milito (Inter)
  • Ezequiel Lavezzi (Napoli)

I've missed Gonzalo Higuain, who seems never fills the eye to the coach. Of those who served in Mexico, or Federico Vilar, Christian Jimenez and Daniel Montenegro were cited. Carlos Tevez was announced, but not within the plans for injury (and to boot, has been aggravated by a fall in the shower). Dátolo, Lavezzi and Bolatti are the latest in the list.

Argentina part with an honor box to face Guus Hiddink's Russia. A list of luxury, except for the goalkeepers. I still do not see who will come under the posts to South Africa. I predict a victory for the albiceleste by 2 to 1, despite paying a visit to Moscow. What is yours?
