Paranoia "technology? Believe it or not, it is. Several NFL teams have banned the use of Twitter not only their players but the media and fans (WTF!). The Miami Dolphins were the first to impose the measure, which was seconded by franchises like the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.

Why the ban? In the players is understandable (which is not the same as justifiable). The owners seek to protect their figures cast some foolish comment that the press can operate (Does this sound for Jimmy Conrad?). In addition to avoiding more work to the departments of Public Relations, prohibits teams other mobile communication devices, in an effort to prevent filtering of information.

The case of the fans and the press is a more extreme measure to look over their shoulders. While the NFL itself considered a counterproductive action, teams do not want to leave anything to chance. A really stupid, in my opinion. Attempting to cut off the flow of information is a retrograde approach, especially at this time. Gone are the days when the secrecy was used to resolve domestic crises. The exemptions must understand that, at the height of the communication without boundaries, this is a matter to adapt or die.

Oh, yes! Do not forget to go to the NFL on Twitter.
