In the end, time has proved stronger than the myth. Michael Schumacher will not return to Formula 1. The German driver has issued a statement in which he admitted that he could take the place of Felipe Massa. Schumacher decided to step aside and not risk or the prestige of the team, not even as a seven-category.

So who will occupy the site of Massa in Valencia? Ferrari has opted for an alternative to give the Italian Luca Badoer. Enough experience: Badoer has spent years waiting for an opportunity as a test driver and finally have fulfilled desire. It seems that the team has realized it is better to dip into the house, instead of drawing to a key retirement.

I have mixed feelings about the news. On the one hand, I think rather than Schumacher to step aside and recognize that you have more to lose than to gain. But the other expectation is that the German had been generated about the race in Valencia. Schumacher felt that their performance would be optimal, and in a professional, giving the place prefers. The legend goes no further. It's Time Badoer.
