Football is a recurring theme recently in the literature, probably because it requires a developed artistic sensibility (much love for the ball) to get capture the essence of the field on paper. Fortunately we have a great team we offer a collection of 100 short stories to enjoy football. In this template are real cracks like Mario Benedetti, a Uruguayan poet by heart esfértico, Jorge Valdano, the philosopher of football, Eduardo Galeano, author of Football in Sun and Shadow, Alejandro Dolina, the legendary writer and radio announcer's revenge will be terrible, Roberto Fontanarrosa, great cartoonist, among many others. Indeed, it has been a pleasant revelation to run into "The world's longest criminal" by Osvaldo Soriano, an account in which the film was based namesake, and one of the best contemporary sports movies I've seen. I've missed in the call to one of my favorite Mexican Juan Villoro, author of God is round, a book which collects his gait as a sports journalist for the World Cup France 1998. Finally, let me ask you a question: what would seem a permanent section on this blog about sports literature? Would you like us to open a section on sports literature?
