In the early phase of the selection of Bolivia, the country's president Evo Morales has proposed nationalizing local soccer one. The president claims that the three entities that coordinate the tournaments in the country work together. And it is that football is a tangle Bolivian: The Bolivian Professional Football League organizes and manages the professional tournament, the National Football Association is responsible for scheduling non-professional tournaments, while the Bolivian Federation is the link with CONMEBOL and is responsible for national teams. Morales points out that there are serious structural flaws in football in the country, such as lack of infrastructure, no work in lower divisions, and lack of understanding between the three associations. As it has done with other items (oil, mining and telecommunications), the president believes that government intervention is necessary. At first glance, the unifying role of government will therefore not be able to work neatly with three heads who do not cooperate. The idea is to emulate countries like Venezuela and Ecuador, whose models have paid off in the last decade. It appears that the nationalization will only provide it to the football authorities a considerable economic boost, with the proviso that the money is invested in improvements, and that partnerships be unified into a single head. The question is to what degree will allow FIFA Evo Morales meddle in football, as the world football governing body seriously penalty governments' role in national federations. Let's see how FIFA considers this idea of taking the football. Evo had better go carefully, because the ghosts still haunt Peru.
