Brazil will be the rival Ghana in the Under-20 World Cup final, after beating for 1 to 0 to Costa Rica in the second game of the semifinals were played on Tuesday. The tactical team led by Roger agreed to the final thanks to a goal from one of his figures, Alan Kardec. Costa Rica will define the third place with Hungary. Both the final as the third-place match will be played on October 16.

During the first forty-five minutes the match was even. The Central Americans, well planted in midfield, they managed to cut the Brazilian football circuit. Alex Teixeira, another of the figures of the Brazilians, did not play well and could not get together with Paulo Henrique. In the first stage of Costa Ricans raised a defensive scheme where Estrada (coupling) and the forwards helped Martinez Ureña mark in midfield, but had orders to get out fast counter to exploit the possibilities permitted by the Brazilian defense. In Costa Rica he was out of goal to cap a perfect first step. Please do so was largely thanks to the work of Brazilian goalkeeper Rafael, who became a figure again and again preventing goals from its rival.

Costa Rica appeared to withstand the challenges of the Brazilian until he came Kardec's goal after a great center of Bertucci, at 67 minutes. Down on the scoreboard, the DT Costa Rica made a couple of changes to find the equalizer to force played overtime. But the tie and the Brazilians did not qualify for the final with a hard victory. The will of Roger for his fifth World Youth Championship against Ghana, which will seek its first title in that category (fell in the finals of Australia 93, Argentina 2001 ) and also the first for an African team.
