River Plate (Uru)

River Plate of Montevideo to Liga de Quito won by 2 to 1 on the first leg of the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana. Just humble victory for Uruguayan team, although with a slight difference and a goal against the visitor.

Richard Porta was who at 8 minutes of the first part opened the scoring for Uruguay table: received a short pass Varela, and laid before the departure of goalkeeper Dominguez. The Ecuadorian would tie at 33 'with Reasco filtered by throwing a right and a cross that missed Claudio Graff appearance alone for Edison Mendez. At the end of the half, Puppo hit with the thigh and the ball off the post, which would have been 2 to 1 for local.

River was well above league game over, monopolizing possession of the ball and constantly attacking, relying on the collective game and systematized actions, trademarks of Juan Ramon Carrasco. This superiority in the game would not be reflected on the scoreboard until the 60th minute, 'when Varela came to the back and threw a pass back to Puppo, as Graff had been in the league goal, cleverly allowed to pass between your legs so that Jorge Cordoba left hand by hand and set with a soft touch. 2 to 1, and just for the local advantage.

League could not even attempt a response: one had a foot more of Neicer Reasco, who entered the area with ball in hand and Smith ended up saving on the line. The latest actions of the party were in favor of River, who got a good victory, even for the processing of the game, the difference could have been greater.
