Nery Castillo, Mexico striker, joined Olimpiacos.

There is a light at the end of the road for Nery Castillo. After spending a couple of years lost in football in Ukraine, the Mexican striker will return to Olimpiacos, club where he outperformed his football career. It is said that the player has reached an agreement with the Hellenic club, who signed him on loan a year and a half.

The devaluation of Nery is impressive. Castillo return to Greece for the modest sum of one and half million euros. Just two years ago, the Olimpiacos let him go to Shakhtar Donetsk in an operation at around 20 million. Amazing how in such a short time the player is worth only one-twentieth of when he left. And is that since coming to mining club, its history has been a continual sorrow. He became loaned to Manchester City, then returned to Shakhtar, and ended up being assigned to the unpronounceable Dnipro Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

After being tempted by many teams in Mexico-including Chivas and America Nery Castillo keeps his word to stay in Europe. It is the club with which he dazzled which has opened the doors. Nery now has a couple of months to regain their level, that he did raise three championships in Greece, which made him the player most coveted by the Tricolor. Olimpiacos, your house, expect it back. I hope you do not get the surprise of the star that once illuminated the Karaiskakis has disappeared.
