Colombian goalkeeper Ali Faryd Mondragon, currently in Cologne, could leave the Bundesliga and return to his country to join Atletico Junior.

The contact was through Diego Edison Umana, coach of the Rojiblancos, who expressed his desire goalkeeper joined the team. Mondragon for his part acknowledged the contact and made it clear that while two years left on his contract with Cologne, where between the clubs reach an agreement he would be happy to return to their country.

Is it time to return home to Faryd? After 20-year career, with successful steps for Argentine football, French, Turkish and Spanish, with two world on his back (USA 94 'and France 98'), seems to be about time to put an end to a trajectory brilliant, as far as possible, before the reflexes begin to fail (phone, duck).

Although come to think better, maybe I am retiring too soon. If you have genes similar to those of his countryman Rene Higuita, we Mondragon for a while.
