You finally can not help wondering what developed based on these rankings.

What will add, divide, fractions, or get into a Venn diagram to make things end up well, but anyway ...

Argentina retained for the fifth consecutive month of top spot in FIFA's world rankings.

Brazil, Italy, Spain and Germany leave behind those led by Alfio Basile, complete the top 10 Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Holland and Greece.

Because of the limited international activity d last month, the ranking did not change too, with the rise of Greece the only change among the top 10.

Who took the leap was Ghana, host of the recent African Nations Cup, which advanced to the semifinal instance, and which earned him climb 29 positions, peaking at 14, the highest ranking of any African team.

Egypt, who stayed with the tournament, rose from 35 to 29, and runner-up Cameroon from 25 to 17, and Ivory Coast from 38 to 24.

Among European countries, the novelty is the arrival from England to 11th place behind after beating Switzerland 2-1 in the debut of his new coach Fabio Capello.

The next ranking will be published on 12 March.
