The coach of Real Betis Balompié, Pepe Leon, charged Competition Ruiz de Lopera close the two parties and terminate the encounter with the Athletic 1-2 in favor of the people of Bilbao, after the bottle that Armando, the goal Athletic received last weekend.

Betis, said its president, feels discriminated against compared to other clubs that identical situations were not punished the same way. When one of these clubs will sing the mea culpa and accept an exemplary punishment as a way to reject violence?

It is not the first time in the Betis stadium an altercation happens like the other day. Last year, Juande Ramos was given a bottle. A president who loves his club, sportsmanship and fair play should in my view, apart from the competition to sentence, giving himself an exemplary lesson and their fans to see the rest of joint sports and, ultimately, sociadad the whole world that violence leads nowhere. Moreover, it removes everything.

It seems good to the extent that competition has taken. Football is a sport, a spectacle, and is made to enjoy it.

Of course I agree with the argument that Pepe Leon used to justify its "cracked" against competition, but before they have done wrong does not mean they always should be. I was embarrassed when he could not pull corners Figo in the Nou Camp because of the "amateur" who harassed him and threw things, which also happened in the Bernabéu and all the world's soccer fields. And that must end. We can not let these people go to a stadium to unleash all its savagery procedure.

All clubs should be punished when something like the bottle that was Armando. Hopefully from now these sanctions are imposed more often.

Fair Play, folks.
