Atlanta Hawks and New Jersey Nets are emerging as the two contenders for the eighth place of the East. Both teams are tied on 31 wins, but have a game in Atlanta.

How's it going in the East! 10.11 and Hawks games remaining and New Jersey are giving all out.

New Jersey had a direct match against Indiana Pacers, who could pick up a bit in the fight for eighth place, winning by 124-117 in New Jersey, thanks to a superb that Josh Boone scored 26 points (the highest scoring his career) and Vince Carter in a stellar plan (22 points and 14 rebounds).

The base substitute for Kidd, Devin Harris, had 15 assists and scored 22 points (is making phenomenal games).

Idiana Pacers, meanwhile, succumbed. Only except that Mike Dunleavy scored 33 points but could never overcome the brilliant first quarter of New Jersey, where he scored 42 points on 29 of the Pacers.

Atlanta, however, did what he had to do. Win their games and not throw numbers. Milwaukee Bucks lost to the team of Joe Johnson and Josh Childress (best in last night). They continue the playoff place.

Chicago has been the worst out of this journey and it is 3 games in the standings. Lost to Philadelphia Sixers for 22 points and looks like your options diminish alarmingly.

Toronto won a major victory in Canada to Detroit Pistons, and allows them to get some air in this important negative streak who are suffering.
