The NBA will be in Europe in October

No. It is not the long-awaited European Conference seems that one day could become a reality. This is the NBA Europe Live 2008 presented by EA Sports and bearing four NBA teams (as in the past two years) to play games in Europe.

The schedule and teams designated for the Tour in October are:

Miami Heat will play twice at the New Jersey Nets. They will be on 9 and 12 October, one in Paris and one in London.

Washington Wizards will face New Orleans Hornets 14 and 17 of the same month in Berlin and in Barcelona, which will close the tour.

These four teams left the witness collected last year by Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors. This time only visit a Spanish city, while last year visited Malaga and Madrid.

"Our third consecutive tour is another step in our effort to bring the show in the NBA to our new fan base," said NBA Commissioner David Stern.

The teams in the NBA have played 48 games in 18 different cities in the past two decades. The seven matches were played last year were followed by more than 10.3 million viewers (75,000 of them in the halls) and were sponsored by 23 (number NBA par excellence) brands.
