Continue the fight for the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. Today has been a direct journey, of those who put the cards on the table and see who will have everything to gain.

Four teams. Two games.

Atlanta Hawks 106 to 103 Chicago Bulls.

Chicago is fading and sorting options are exhausted. There is still much to mathematical elimination, but go up 4 games in 10 taking two other teams in front of it seems a very difficult task.

Atlanta, by contrast, keep doing what you do and takes hold in the eighth position with a game played for New Jersey and Indiana, his two immediate pursuers.

Mike Bibby was the hero of the victory over Chicago with 30 points, though Ben Gordon could have forced an extension if he scored a triple at the buzzer.

New Jersey Nets 115-123 Indiana Pacers

Indiana returned to New Jersey and starts a game from them. If two days ago New Jersey took a dramatic turn of events, now Indiana has done to try its own medicine and Troy Murphy in a stellar plan (21 points and 17 rebounds) made them see they can still make war, and that as Atlanta neglect (2.5 games), can make war.

The thing in the fight for this conference is as follows, in the absence of 9-10 games to conclude the regular season:

8. Atlanta Hawks: 32-40, 10 games.
9. New Jersey Nets: 31-42, 9 games to play.
10. Indiana Pacers: 30-43, 9 games to play.
11. Chicago Bulls: 28-44, 10 games.
