Pau Gasol returns tonight

Our Pau Gasol returns to the slopes today at Staples Center, despite not being 100% recovered.

"Enough," Pau will have thought after missing recent matches through injury. The Lakers have won a 5-4 since Pau got hurt three weeks ago. The Lakers, who led the Western Conference, has fallen to third place behind New Orleans Hornets and San Antonio Spurs.

"If anything strange happens and the ankle responds well to training today, I think is a good opportunity to re out there," said Pau Gasol.

The Lakers are prepared well for the final stretch of the season with less than ten games remaining, and they want done with the best record in the conference in order to achieve any advantage in the playoffs (until the end at least). It will not be easy because San Antonio is locked-(holds 8 consecutive wins) and New Orleans is not going to make things easy.

The Lakers face this morning at Portland Trail Blazers. How Sergio Rodriguez will play in the match tonight? No wonder Rudy Fernandez be afraid to make the leap to the NBA.
