Everyone knows that basketball is the sport of statistics. You can do a normal mode or in an "unhealthy or pathological" (authors note: do not take seriously). It's amazing how in the world NBA statistics take so many a day. Do you also have to analyze games? Certainly, yes.

The NBA is not characterized by the set, as the European leagues. Without going any further, a third-year player he wants to make the season of his life in terms of personal achievement (usually regardless of everything that had to import their equipment) to sign a big contract this summer.

It's exciting venture into the world of statistics to see baloncestística each team rércors or curiosities. Perhaps many of them are not worth to infer the outcome of a playoff or a particular party, but it's amazing to discover how these analysts are all controlled so as not to exhaust them all.

This is the case Nba.com, each week brings to light the most interesting numbers to fill one's mouth is when talking about NBA. You want to see some examples? Here are a few of this week.

- Denver has made during March of half scoring 117.9 points per game, the highest since the Golden State Warriors scored 118.0 in the 1991-92 season. (This is quite normalità, let the others).

- Golden State 0-20 carries a streak of playing in San Antonio, just when Tim Duncan came into the league. In all these encounters Golden State (which is characterized by the highest-scoring teams) has scored fewer than 100 points. This happened to a team (scoring less than 100 points in as many away games against one team, eye) since season 1954-1955. (This is already more interesting, I do not Deny).

- San Antonio Spurs have reached 50 wins for the ninth consecutive season. This has only been achieved in Lakers history (between the 79-80 and the 90-91) and Celtics (long ago). If Texas managed to reach the mark of 57 victories, would be the only team to reach that figure in eight consecutive seasons.

- Lamar Odom scored over 20 points and 20 rebounds the other day. Only Shaquille O'Neal, Garnett and Camby have done among active players.

- Jason Richardson (Charlotte Bobcats) and Rashard Lewis (Orlando Magic) have entered the club formed by Quentin Richardson (Phoenix Suns) and Damon Jones (Miami Heat) to be the only players in history to score 200 triples in his first season with a team.
