Kevin Garnett is done with the award for 'Best Defensive Player "of the year

Kevin Garnett, power forward for the Boston Celtics and chief architect of the successful season of his excellent team, has been awarded the prize for 'Best Defensive Player "of the year.

Also sponsored by Kia Motors, which is always present at the awards in the NBA, the prize has been awarded to a player who has averaged 7.3 defensive rebounds per game, 1.2 plugs and 1.4 steals.
