Again Kobe. He led the Lakers with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead them to victory (108-105) over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. The Jazz, as always, were leathery to the end without ever give up. In fact, entered the fourth quarter with an 16-point deficit and eventually had two chances to tie the game go to overtime, but Mehmet Okur and Deron Williams missed two separate triple in the absence of 4 and 2 seconds respectively.

Pau Gasol also caught on a great match. 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 gentlemen plugs to help the Lakers in their series, that ended 4-2 in favor of Los Angeles.

"We got tired in the second half, while they played with intensity," Phil Jackson said regarding the near-comeback by the Jazz. "But I know we did the right things at the end of the game."

The Lakers have to wait now to finish the series between the Spurs and the Hornets on Monday to find out what his rival in the conference finals. If the Lakers manage to win the first two games at home have many cattle, since starting 2-0 have only lost a 37 series in its history.

Cleveland Force Game Seven

If the Lakers game against the Jazz was vibrant, intense and exciting, the Celtics against the Cavaliers was the opposite. 74-69 to Cleveland and played the seventh game in Boston. The Celtics are still winning out, although they need not to take the ring. But the bad taste that they are leaving in these playoffs is upsetting more than an amateur. Thus one can not (or should) win the NBA ring.

LeBron James was enough to subdue the Cavaliers, scoring 32 points. "It was either win or go home, and I'm not ready to go home," said James.

The seventh and final leg will be played Sunday in Boston. They played today and play Sunday. San Antonio and New Orleans played yesterday and play on Monday. I do not understand is inconsistency in the calendar.
