Madrid final struggle for the 2016 Olympic Games

The city of Madrid will be in Chicago, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro as rivals in their struggle to organize the Olympic Games 2016.

I remember when Madrid took the beating for failing to organize the Olympic Games 2012 (from here my contempt for Albert of Monaco and commentary) and one of the top brass of the scene said, citing the possibility that Spain could choose to organize the 2016:

"There is no law that prevents a continent to have two consecutive Olympic Games."

Yes, there is no law, but since they did London and Helsinki in 1948 and 1952 has not happened again. But hey, do not worry because Madrid is already in the race for the Olympic Games 2016. Yesterday exceeded the court where cities Prague, Doha and Baku were discarded.

Tokyo was the big beneficiary of the court and who obtained the highest score. Madrid finished second, which augurs exciting campaign which we hope will conclude with the great news that will organize the Games. But there is still much for that. And much work to do. Very much ...
